Just a short post to say WOWOWOW, we have a new president in this great country of ours. All done as was said with no violence. Now lets hope and pray that he can follow up on all those big promises. Just let us remember that he did say that it will not happen over night. I know we can change as a country if only the politician in Washington will set aside their petty fighting and do the job they were voting into office to do.

I have had the honor to be in the US Navy for 22 years and have been to many countries and have not seen any other country that can compare to the USA. We are so lucky to live in this great country and have the opportunities that we do.

We are here, enjoy it!

So here we are living our lives out day after day. But WHY? Because we choose to. Well I believe we have a choice in it all. Even if you are the religious type you have to think about it. GOD does not control our life's, he lets us make what decision we will and live with the consequences. He does not force any thing on us. Even if we ask for help, at most you are given a slight soft push in one direction. Even then we get to choose if we listen and follow. I have had "Answers" to prays and had not always followed that advice. Did it change my life for the worse when I did not do as the guiding spirit advised? Not really. Was life any harder for not following it, not really. We each have life choices to make and we each decide what to do and when. Do you really think that we will be punished for not following the small soft whisper of GOD's spirit. I don't. I think all this is just another choice we will have to make in our life's.

What if in the end "WE Choose" where we go. Think about a road twisting it's way through a forest. Down into valleys and up over soft rolling hills. And around this or that bend we see people living and we choose if we will walk among them and be a part of their lives. Along this road we see a dark forbearing forest where the very depraved, twisted, evil hate filled people that have ever lived on this earth are now living out their eternal lives. Bringing harm and receiving harm to and from all those around them. We also see those areas full of people who are fill with love, peace and harmony. Living their eternal lives in a GOD like way. There are those places where if you did not know better you would think you have returned to live once again on this earth. Having to work and toil out our every day just to get by. But where do you or I fit in? Have we lived such a hard uncaring life that we would fit in with those in the dark forest? Have we lived such good and kind life that we would be comfortable with those living next to GOD? Walk this road, look in and see what hill or or valley you will choose to stay in. Your choice when or where to stop. Nothing is forced on you, nothing is taken away, you remember every second, every choice, every action you every did. Where would you really feel comfortable if you where told to walk down that road today?

If you do not like the turn in the road where you would stop, then choice today to stop living the way you are. Choose a path that will help you achieve a higher standard of living. A greater goal, a more perfect you. Not some one's vision of what you are but your own. You choose, you take that step. You are not force to be any thing you do not want to be. What will bring you a greater joy, more happiness and a love for your self? You can not love others until you can love your self.

Now, choose how much you want to love your self.

Today it starts

I am just a guy who has made many mistakes in his life and continues to make them. The one thing I try to do is learn from all those mistakes and the different experiences I have had in my life. On my third marriage and still trying to get it right. Life has had it's ups and downs and heaven knows I have added a few broken eggs into my own omelet.

But here are a few things I have learned over the years.

Every button has a button hole.

We all make mistakes, except them in your self and in others.

As long as you can Honesty live with your self and the things you have done, or will, or are going to do, well then do not worry about it.

Learn to laugh at your self.

Always have fun, Always have fun.

Bring harm to no one.

I have never met any one who has met GOD, and I have not met GOD, so I except what every one believes and choose what I want to believe.

We all are right, GOD has not told me you are wrong.

I believe people do REPENT.

Learn what it means to repent.

If you could have every thing you have done wrong in your life erased and forgotten would you want it done? I would not, those things help me stay out of trouble and help me to try and keep others out of trouble. We all would like to be forgiven for those BIG THINGS we have done so why is it we refuse to forgive others the things they have done? I have a couple of those BIG THINGS in my life and I have learned to forgive others of the BIG and LITTLE THINGS they have, and will do. It is odd how when you are faced with your own demons how you deal with them. It has taken some time but I have learned to live with myself. I have also learned to live with others who are nothing like me. I know that I have repented and know that others can and will repent. I know that some people are born one way and others choose to be another. If there is a GOD for me, and I hope there is, I do not believe that my GOD is going to hold what exquates to less than a blink of the eye, in the eternal aspect of it all, every thing or any of this against us.

So today and every day, smile, laugh, cry, hope, love, except, repent, forgive and live.
